"I can highly recommend this property! It is a short walk to the beach and have the most amazing views. We could even sit on our balcony and watch the whales whilst sipping our morning coffee! The accommodation is great with a fully equipped kitchen and lovely decor keeping with the ocean theme. The owner was also incredibly helpful and very friendly. We will definitely return! "

"We absolutely loved the apartment. It was luxurious, spacious and extremely well equipped. The location was outstanding as well. We could see the sea from our windows and loved being able to cross the road and be on great walking paths both directions along the ocean. We were walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Great location."

"The place is located next to a township, there is a lot of mold in the apartment and the beds are worned out and full of stains. The smell in the apartment because of the mold and humidity and as it is not well isolated, is very bad. The check in process was easy though and it was cheap. We were quite disappointed with the place, it was ok to spend one night"

"Travelling the Garden Route from PE to Cape Town. Travelling as a couple we wanted accommodation that we make full use of all the facilities, and catch up on our washing. We had a sat nav so the place was easy to find. Lots of things to do nearby if the whales are not about, wine tours. Shark Cage diving. The owner even helped us book the Cape Canopy Tours near Cape Town, excellent value and more scary than shark cage diving. The owner Gill, is a lovely lady and helps you out with anything...

"What a fabulous apartment in an amazing location, wished we had stayed longer. Easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. Suzanne was very helpful and ensured we made the most of our stay. Highly recommend."

"This was by far the best days of my 3 weeks in the Cape. I wish I had booked to stay longer. The view was unbeatable. Across the street from the coastal pathway and walkable to groceries and many good restaurants although I spent many hours in the unit just contemplating. This is a definite stay for me next time."

Large and old/rustic house that came with a fully equipped kitchen and two fire places for those who are afraid of the cold (buy your own fire wood). Could do with more electrical sockets to charge devices."

"A very comfortable and inviting penthouse. We enjoyed the week in Hermanus, and the perfect location of La Paradis provided for easy walking to many great restaurants and wine bars. The only downside is the building construction that is going on right next door, but if you don't mind being woken with construction noise at 7:30 this won't be a problem"

"The marketing information visible on website is not accurate at all. Upon our arrival in Franskraal it became immediately obvious so we spoke to the host and we agreed that there would be no cost to us if we decided to leave. We left within an hour feeling very disappointed"
