"In a residential neighborhood just past the upper edge of the business area, we enjoyed the quiet street and short walk to everything. We understand that the home once belonged to a sea captain. Now, it is up-to-date (but not too modern) where it counts, freshly painted, clean and comfortable. The HVAC system was quiet and it maintained our temperature setting during a few days of cool weather. The continental breakfast was excellent - from the spinach souffle (?) to the chocolate croissants, we tried a little of everything. The dining area was bright and cozy but, if the weather had been a little warmer, we would have loved to sit in the courtyard in the morning under the huge cherry tree. As it was, the fire pit in the evening was a nice touch during the cool weather. We felt very welcomed at the reception desk when we arrived. During our stay, Richard provided terrific insight about life in Nantucket. We'd definitely stay here again."
