Disliked: Cleanliness
There was hair on our bed, I ask for late due to getting dress for my wedding and I was told
Spotless room, very hot shower and luxury shampoo and lotion. The location was terrific and only 3 blocks from the hustle and bustle of the town’s center activity. Staff very friendly. Living area perfect for reading.
The Centerboard is in a good location and is kept meticulously by Audrey was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. We were disappointed that there was no breakfast, not even a muffin (after all, it is a B&B). Otherwise, we were very happy.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Centerboard. There is no onsite management as it’s a small property with just a handful of rooms, but staff was easily reachable via text. I would definitely stay here again!
I would describe this as sort of a hybrid between a hotel and an Air B & B which initially threw me because we are usually hotel folks. The staff responds efficiently and quickly to any request or question that you have. It is a terrific location and very charmingly renovated. There is a "pantry" available to guest 24/7 with tea and coffee as well as a lovely sitting area. Molton Brown bath amenities!
We enjoyed our stay and were grateful for the young woman who was on the property to attend our needs. It would be nice to have light breakfast foods available. Fruits, muffins cereals. Something easy we could have with tea or coffee before heading out for the day.
A thought for future visitors.
I’ve been coming to Nantucket for decades, and this is literally the perfect location was wonderful and accommodated my early arrival and late ferry by allowing us to leave our small bags in the drawing room. Will definitely return and have recommended to many.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Positives:
The room was clean, daily cleaning was good, and the bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
There was less than 12 inches between the left side of the bed and the wall. The right side was even less due to an AC unit. It made it very difficult to get in and out of the bed. The room was very cold and we could not use the heat because unit 2 was controlling the unit. That is a huge flaw. Communication to the manager was not great because I did text them about the lack of heat and they didn’t respond.
The Centerboard is a beautiful little Inn a short walk from downtown. The staff was friendly and very helpful as we arrived early and were allowed to get into our room at that time. There are not a lot of amenities, but the Centerboard is spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay.
Spacious, clean. Great bath/shower area. Nice towels. Great wifi.
Living room area was a little musty. King bed was very comfortable except for sheet sliding around plastic bed protector.
Overall, a great option for the price.
The property was superb. The building manager, Audrey, was wonderful! The room was quite comfortable and very charming with amenities like a microwave oven, coffee maker and refrigerator. The shower was exquisite! The king-size bed was relaxing.
For the height of the tourist season, the facility was QUIET. We felt like we had the place to ourselves, but did see other guests coming and going.
Very walkable to town center and the ferry dock; yes, about 10 minutes.
Great locations; easy walk to everything: shops, restaurants, beaches, ferry and bus stop. This is a small guest house with 4 rooms, nice sitting area large table in dinning room and small porch. Very clean. One maid present during the day otherwise no staff. Would definitely stay here again.
