Staff was incredibly helpful in answering questions about the local area and in holding our luggage before and after our reservation. All staff we encountered spoke English which is always helpful. Room was clean with only minor evidence of wear (older carpet and marks on walls). Beds were comfy, only complaint is there weren’t enough pillows (which is typical in Japan), but we made do and still slept really well. Little to no road noise, with an awesome bakery down the street. Would absolutely stay here again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. the place was so clean, and great amenities which are exactly we needed! The bathroom has got a laundry rope to hung clothes, there are pyjamas, bedside clock, toothbrush- perfect! We stayed on 11th floor, and it was very quiet, that’s brilliant in a heart of town. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location by Sakae station. Room was quite clean and comfortable. Dated decor but that’s just nit picking. Breakfast buffet was nice with both local and western options. Only stayed 1 night, would have liked to stay longer.

Room was great. Bathroom needs work. Shower head holder needs fixing. Shower walls needs thorough cleaning to remove black molds that are forming in the crevices. However, despite these correctable issues, we enjoyed our stay here. It is located all within walking distances to local transportation, eating places, shopping malls and entertainment. We would stay here again.

Spacious room. The only thing I didn’t like was the room I was given, it was on a high level but the window was facing 4 walls so ventilation wasn’t great. The central heating of the hotel meant that it got abit hot, but the hotel was able to supply me a pedestal fan. Otherwise the location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic! Near Donki, convenient store, shopping district etc, around the corner from Sakae station!

The air conditioner was not working properly on first two days and it was hot and still in this Nagoya summer nights. After checking with the concierge, the problem was quickly resolved. It might be related to the room preparation but it had been handled in a nice and attentive way. Other than that the hotel location is excellent. It is located in a quiet street within the busy area of Sakae district. This is perfect for sightseeing around the city and even for spots adjacent to the city.. Besides, the staff are also friendly and halpful. In all, it was a pleasant stay

I stayed here before when it was the Trusty Hotel. It is the same structurally and is a basic hotel. But there was a strange smell in the lobby and the hallways outside of the room. I'm guessing it's from the cleaning chemicals used. My wife and I didn't like it at all. As for the staff, they were professional and had no issues there. Good service. The bed, room and bathroom were also good and we liked them. It was just that smell that was an issue.
