The Bay Filey Holiday Village

"House was fine, clean and tidy although the freezer had been defrosted and not cleaned so we had to complain about that. The pub has gone down hill, food not as good and expensive, alcohol is very expensive. The site no longer has any electric car charging stations which is frankly rubbish (nearest decent charger is at McDonalds 8 miles away and expensive), staff said they were damaged and decided not to replace them. We really like this site and will return but spend our money elsewhere."

"This property was perfect for our family holiday. We had my dad who was 85 and we hired a mobility scooter so he was able to get down to the beach. We had dogs and teenagers so location was perfect with the pool and gym on site. All creature comforts making it easy to eat in or go out for dinner. "I stayed here in August with my two children. It's a really lovely lodge with everything that you could need. We loved all the sea and anchor touches around the lodge. It was very comfortable and the location is really great. It is on a quiet road, but it is also very close to the tennis court, pub, restaurant and access to the beach. The Bay Filey in general is beautiful and kept really clean. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, and also kept very clean. We had an issue with the drains while we were staying at the Blue Anchor, but I contacted Paula, who asked someone to come out as soon as possible to deal with it. She also kept me well informed about what was happening until it was sorted. All the facilities are great, although the swimming pool was overcrowded. We had booked two sessions but we cancelled the second one. It may be better when it is not the peak season. Overall, we would definitely return to the Bay, and the Blue Anchor."
