It is clean, comfortable, and cozy. The host is wonderful, and he makes excellent coffee for his guests every morning. The place is also a mini museum — you can appreciate its story through a pleasant conversation with the host. I’m sure you will enjoy your stay here as much as I did."

"The shower was great. The restaurant meal options for dinner were not good and the English translations need updating. However staff were very friendly throughout. We enjoyed the shuttle service provided as well. "

"Clean and comfy room, friendly staffs, nice onsen facilities, express highway bus stop is just across the street, have various direct buses to Takamatsu Train Station and ferry port, just 12-15 min away. "

"I’ve stayed at JR Clemens Hotel four times through the years, and the hotel keeps getting better! The staff spoke okay English during check-in, it was easy to buy (excellent!) breakfast for just one of our days and the room was fresh and suited our needs perfectly. We had some kind of deluxe standard room with great beds, okay amount of space and good tea and coffee. Only downside was that we only were on the seventh floor and thus did not get one of the amazing view that you can get if you are higher up. I would like to add that the breakfast was the best ones I have had in Japan, and that it has improved a lot during recent years. I am a vegetarian and could more than eat my fill. Especially appreciated the varm pancakes and the soft serve ice cream. The hotel lacks any kind of onsen, which I would say is the only thing missing right now for a truly outstanding experience."

"I enjoyed the Japanese breakfast, food was delicious. Buffet fruit and vegetables was fresh and tasty. We also enjoyed the cocktail hour with excellent beverage choices and appetizers in a cozy, relaxing setting. All the staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. The room was clean. My only concern was the room had very little storage space for my clothing, suitcase and accessories. "
