"Robert was a great host! The house was clean and exactly what we expected from the pictures, description, and other user reviews. Surprisingly, the airport was a non-factor for noise, I only knew it was there because of Google Maps. The house had a great layout for a large family vacation. Enough communal spaces and robust entertainment set up. We didn't even turn on the TV to watch it. The kids all had a great time learning to shoot pool, throw darts, and air hockey. The outdoor space was amazing with plenty of room to come together or be off independently. He was responsive and attentive to all the needs and questions we had. Well stocked and even had hotel toiletries in case you forgot something (I have never seen this at any other property I have stayed at). Very importantly it is right by a grocery that had a lot of stuff at a reasonable price. Overall, everyone had a memorable time and well worth the cost spent. Drivable to many point of interest in Northern MI. We did Sleeping Bear, Mackinac Island, and the Pictured Rocks. I do recommend adding a day ahead of the stay for the Pictured Rocks."

"My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway here to celebrate our anniversary. The owners were very quick with responses to any questions. The cabin is quite cozy, the hot tub was lovely to relax in and sitting by the babbling stream with a glass of wine was incredibly relaxing! I haven't felt so relaxed in quite some time!The below is just some information regarding the cabin, not intended to be negative. I have worked in a physical therapy office for 18 years, so things of this nature are more on the forefront of my mind. If you are considered to have moderate to severe mobility and/or a person of size, then I would not suggest this location. The step-up to enter the cabin is a little taller than typical. The bathroom space and shower are small, so it may be impossible for people much larger than my self (I'm 5'5" and about 250 lbs with a large butt) to navigate. Also the bed literally takes up the majority of the floor space of the bedroom, if two people stayed one will need to climb on and across the mattress. The bed is on the taller side as well. Just to reiterate, I do not say these in a negative way, it was noticeable and I just think of accessibility more often now. We had a very low key stay, we ventured 20 minutes south to Rose City and tried both wine tasting businesses, both were completely delightful and we recommend! It was so nice to get away and reconnect with my husband, 20 years strong here! Thank you again, we recommend this location to others"

"The house is absolutely beautiful. There were 17 of us that stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place. There were times that I lost a few people in the house, because of all the room. We all had a bed to sleep in. This house needs nothing, take your personal items, food and your all set. The hot tub was wonderful. They supplied everything we could think of, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, dish soap, hand soap, fire wood and SO much more…. We had a GREAT stay and will be back."
