THE PERFECT SPOT TO UNWIND, RELAX AND ENJOY NATURE!

Our A-Frame cabin is in a beautiful tranquil setting on 23 acres of meadows and woodland, with trails. You can watch deer, wild turkeys, birds (an eagle nests close by), or just sit and read and unwind. We are just two miles from Fairview, and not far from Mio, where you can purchase food and supplies, or eat out when you don't feel like cooking. We provide TV, DVD player, Roku with Netflix, Wifi, wood burning fireplace, fire pit outdoors, Ramp to the back door if needed, swing, grill on large deck, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee pot. Firewood can be purchased on the property for a very reasonable price (On Lori Lane before you get to the A-frame). ******You supply sheets and towels.******

Perfect Weekend Stay

Lovely property and clean cabin. We had a blast last weekend playing hockey at the local park and watching rally cars. This was the perfect place to come back to.

Perfect Weekend Escape

My friend and I had the best weekend at this property! The information regarding location, local amenities, and the cabin itself were spot on and it was SO clean! We loved waking up to seeing the blue jays and cardinals enjoying their breakfast from the back deck and it was exactly the relaxing experience we were hoping for!

Peace and tranquility

This is our 4th visit to the Aframe. The setting is idyllic, nature is everywhere. It is more peaceful than anywhere Ive ever been. We will be returning next year.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We needed a place to escape from "the busyness" and just relax with our pup - this was the perfect place ... quiet, beautiful and welcoming. We have already booked another stay for next year!

Magical Family Get-away

This place is really beautiful and spacious, our family of six had plenty of space and privacy. Just remote enough to enjoy a quiet weekend full of fishing, exploration and s’mores around the fire! We will definitely come back again in the summer!

We totally enjoyed our stay at this property. The surroundings so peaceful. We still kept busy. We kayaked the AuSable River, went to Perry Lake with our pontoon and had excellent fishing. We were able to have a fish fry and still take some home for the freezer. Visited Hubbard Lake and drove over to Alpena one of the days. Last day was gorgeous, so we checked out McCollum Lake, not very far from cabin. We really enjoyed that lake. Walked the trails at cabin, kayaked at the pond and had a fire every night. GOOD TIMES, GOOD MEMORIES!!

Peaceful Get Away

Great place to rest and relax. Plenty of trails to hike nearby and lots of places to go kayaking. We love the A-Frame this was our 3rd year and we booked it for next year! Beds are comfy. We love everything about it!

Family Vacation

The Aframe was perfect. Very cozy and stocked with everything we could need. We caught so many fish, and had such a relaxing week. The kids loved the amusement park that is nearby. Very peaceful area, and the caretakers do a wonderful job maintaining the grounds and trails.

A little piece of heaven

We stayed 6 days at this peaceful cabin, nestled in the woods right on a pond. So many types of wildlife come to visit! There are good restaurants close by and this is the perfect place to unwind and forget daily stress.

Charming and very quiet.

Very nice clean cabin with a very nice setting on a small pond. Pond kept the kids busy fishing with some very nice sized bass. Cabin is also close to orv trails and other lakes. Other towns are not far away and the host will let you know where the best hikes, restaurant's and lakes are when you book.

Vacation for the Dog!

We have a dog that recently lost his dog brother so we wanted to take him on a vacation. This place had everything we needed and more. It was private, comfortable, and a great place to stay. There were trails for us to walk on and plenty of place to sit and relax outside. We didn’t venture out much, but we did try the pizza in Mio and it was pretty good. Anyhow, we loved our stay so much that we booked another weekend there for next month!

Relaxing, peaceful and clean

The A Frame cabin was exactly what my friends and I needed for a weekend away from everyday life!The cabin was very clean and fully stocked. The outdoor area is just wonderful and peaceful! The stargazing at night was great as well! Had it not been windy and cold, we would have been on the provided kayaks or canoe. The maple syrup left for us was a nice surprise and was delicious! While it was a great place to relax with a few friends, it's a place I'd very much enjoy with my family as well!The host has great communication and makes sure you have everything you need, and aware what's availability locally.We loved the A Frame!

Weekend getaway

The A frame was nice and cozy. Check in was easy. A nice place to unwind and relax. Had to communicate with owner about a leak that we found when we checked in and they were quick to respond. The firewood that was supposed to be there for the inside wasn’t there but that was ok. Overall we had a nice relaxing weekend.
