"Lovely hotel with a great outdoor area. I stayed solo as I had a spa day locally the following day, was a great single room and would definitely stay again. "
"Friendly staff with great rooms and good food. Plus a perfect pint. You would have difficulty finding anywhere better to stay. Very quiet and peaceful village. First class. Thank you for the stay. "

"I arrived pretty late and I was the last one to check in, the lady who assisted me was polite and helpful. My room was smart and warm. By the way parking was a breeze, didn't struggle to get space. Slept well and the hot full English breakfast was a delight to have. Place is cosy, warm, clean and has exceptional staff. 10 out of 10..."
"Start with the positives, communication was good and the most of the accommodation was as the pictures, the bathroom in particular was lovely. However, be aware that the stairs are very steep, if you have any mobility issues his could be a problem. Parking is a real challenge for the entirety of our stay there was no nearby space and the neighbours either side were armed on the pavement outside the front door. The kitchen could have been cleaner, we ended up washing things before using them and the table was horribly sticky. The garden had great potential but needed weeding as the weeds between the paving stones were out of control. Also and quite bizarre but just after we arrived the neighbour initially tried to enter the garden through the gate between the two properties and then knocked on the front door to ask if she could come through the house to access her garden. As I said in the heading, this could be lovely just not quite there which was a disappointment "
