"There was a DJ in the lobby on Saturday night which would have been fine but we had kids and went to bed at like 10 pm. The pounding from the music reached us on the 6th floor! This is not ok when you have little kids. Also, I wished the bakery had more baked items to choose from. Otherwise I loved the hotel. Very much needed in Brooklyn."

"If you’ve stayed at a Motel One in Europe before, then you know not to expect too much in terms of amenities. However, the room had everything we needed: a small fridge, iron, hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable and the room was bigger than expected; we were able to fit two large suitcases. Staff were very friendly and the location is great for transport, particularly if you’re planning on using the ferries. All in all a good experience."

"From the moment I checked in to the time I left the hotel, I had a wonderfully experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I cannot say that enough. My room was lovely and it was cleaned every day. I had a beautiful view. I never once heard my neighbors. I got great sleep and was able to walk to work. Cons—only two slow, small elevators to serve both guest and housekeeping staff. Only one ice machine for guests and it is located in the cellar, we had to go down and back up 36 floors on slow and usually crowded elevators just to get a bucket of ice. "

"Great 1 night stay to attend a concert at Prudential Center which is in walking distance. Be careful of surrounding area outside at night. A guy followed us back in the hotel on the elevator. When asked which floor he wanted, he said Basement. He was probably going to try to rob us. Security should have been stationed there as usual and stopped him."
