This is a trucker hotel. Cheap and not bad. We would have stayed elsewhere but it was one of the few places in Leadville that allows dogs ($25/night). Not in walking distance of town but still a great location for visiting or just passing through. Upgrades to the property are evidently not a priority but it was clean enough for me, and I like it clean. For the.$100, compared to other locations it’s probably worth it but if you like comfort on your vacation look elsewhere.

As far as the room and stay it was average for the hotel. Check in and out was fair. It was a Holiday weekend so busy. It went down hill when we went down for breakfast. It is a small room and was full. So we decided to just grab a coffee to go and would have been happy. Out of 4 dispensers of Coffee there was none. We left quietly and drove 30+ miles to the next town for Coffee and Breakfast.

Plenty parking, working heater, evening staff completely unfriendly, morning staff greeted us nicely and was friendly, place overall feels very rundown, room is dingy and reeks of cleaning chemicals. Had HBO which was fun. My main thought the whole time was that they needed to tear down the place and build something new. And then I wasn’t sure I had made the right choice and getting the place for the night, and that I should’ve just put up a tent outside for a fresh clean feeling.
