Totally recommend if you are wanting to relax, you're miles away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. Read a book, look out the window at the Dart river, watch a movie, eat and drink next door at the lodge or do a walk. Staff are lovely. We were on our honeymoon and loved it.

The lodge is spectacular, and warm, inviting and comfortable.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the service unassuming and attentive. Staff will help with suggestions, and arranging any trips and activities you may want to do. Alternatively it is the perfect location to do very little. The food was delicious and dinner an experience itself.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. They had a double sofa bed for our kids. Was in a breathtaking location. Easy 20min walk to the town centre. Restaurant in the hotel was absolutely amazing with delicious food. We had the lamb shoulder which was perfect. Will return for sure.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Wanaka, this is a great option. The caravan was cozy, warm and comfortable, and the shower block was clean and tidy. Convenient location close to town and an easy drive to Cardrona. Not luxury accommodation, but excellent value for money and exceeded our expectations for a caravan stay.
