Pascal was a fabulous host

We came here for one night on our road trip through France, as part of our honeymoon, and it was just beautiful. The chateau is so gorgeous, and the staff were incredibly friendly. When we got to our room, which was huge, they had a hand written note congratulating us, and some super delicious chocolates. So thoughtful! A little too distant from town to walk but the coffee shop next to Aldi was superb for breakfast as breakfast at the hotel was more expensive than we had expected. Being described as B&B , we had wrongly assumed breakfast was included

Wonderful staff and views. Fabulous location and building. We had the garden room for a week however our King size bed was in fact two singles that moved apart. Note: Walking to town not recommended by staff but we did anyway almost trod on a snake beside the road. Taxi charges for a trip from town before they pick you up and was unable to charge my card as no coverage, Hotel staff saved the day with a loan Many thanks. Rental car a must.

In the past 12 months we’ve stayed in some 30 hotels from Australia to the UK, France and The Netherlands and this would have to be one of the best!! Our room was really well thought out and obviously designed to make one’s stay as easy and pleasurable as possible. It featured a compact kitchenette with a good sized fridge with a freezer section, a fold down table that was easily big enough for 2 c/w 2 folding chairs that can be stowed in the robe, plus 2 comfortable armchairs and a good size...

Beautifully appointed room. Quiet and private location. Well appointed gym although very small. Nice pool and sauna but with weird rules that aren’t obviously published anywhere - expect a telling off from the ‘wellness’ staff if you don’t follow the mystery rules! Bar is very nice, a great space to relax and service there was outstanding. Restaurant looked lovely too, but with dinner service not starting until 7pm, we didn’t bother - plenty of other equally good/better options nearby. We didn’t...
