We checked in after hours to the property, which was easy and stress free. We were also ecstatic when we saw the room. It was very spacious, clean and the heat pump had been left on to make the room toasty warm for our arrival. Additionally they had gone the extra mile to provide a map to our room and info on how to connect to the wifi in an envelope which I really appreciated. Everything was immaculate, the staff were LOVELY, we needed to arrive late, the key was left where it was easily accessible, the light was on in our room, the two pools are stunning! We are hot pool people. Absolutely stunning. We stayed on the way down to Wellington, loved it so much we stayed on the way back up to Auckland. There are a LOT of choices in Taupo and this would be our pick, everytime.
