"We had a lovely few days in Crosshouse apartment in Warkworth. Great accommodation in a fantastic location - the enclosed garden is a big plus if you have dogs like we do. The hosts, Lara and Andy, were very friendly and helpful. We hope to return when we can as Warkworth is such a lovely place to visit with the beach, the castle, the river and lots of great places to eat."

"Very clean and spacious bedrooms however they use an air vacuum toilet system which it was acknowledged to me was useless. I used the pub toilet at times because of continual blockages. That’s dreadful. It is a pub and was very good with pleasant staff. The breakfast was limited to usual hot food, except only fried eggs, limited continental breakfast. We had one evening meal and not brilliant however the fish restaurants in Amble compensate. Parking is good and plentiful on-site. The pub is difficult to find using a car satnav but ok if you use Google. Apparently the pub has been there 3 years and many satnavs don’t recognise the estate it’s on."

"Had a fabulous stay the bed was super comfortable and the bedding was really nice. I'd booked a double ensuite room and the member of staff gave me the option of a room with a shower over a bath or a stand alone shower cubicle which was nice. Overall had a great stay"
