"Lovely place to stay if you have a vehicle but it is a bit far to get into downtown Alnwick and the Castle and Gardens. It is about a 30 minute walk. Uber and cabs are dicey at best. We took the bus, but it only runs hourly. Restaurant was great with a good breakfast that was included. Rooms are nice, but no fridge. The staff we interacted with were very friendly."

"An old castle in England, what more do you want. The staff were very attentive and very pleasant. Even with a fire alarm in the middle of the night (false alarm) they were pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing both for dinner and for breakfast."

"It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. Would consider staying there again if we are ever in the area."
