"The moment i walked into the Vila Mar i was mesmerized. Not only was the grounds spectacular but the staff were as well. I ended up very sick during my stay and the staff came in several times to change out my towels, freshen the room. What an extraordinary experience. I felt like part of the family! "We stayed here with my husband and family, and our experience was truly special. Every time we come back to Recife, we choose this hotel because of the incredible people who work here. The location is also extremely convenient, especially given its proximity to the airport, which makes traveling much easier. The staff, Genesio, Ivan, Davi, Everton, Roberto, Armando, Lincoln, Maria Lucia, Lidma, and Carlos (I hope I remembered everyone correctly), are absolutely nice and amazing. They consistently go above and beyond, making every stay feel warm and personal. They don’t treat you like just another guest; they make you feel welcomed, valued, and at home. People like them are the reason guests keep coming back, and they are truly the heart of this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, everyone was extremely helpful, and it was always one of the highlights of our stay. The only reason I’m not giving a perfect review is that, considering the price of the stay, the rooms could use better upkeep. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of mold in the room, which was disappointing. This hotel has so much potential, thanks to its genuinely exceptional service and staff. With better room maintenance, the experience would be absolutely perfect. Also, the smoking area should be moved ASAP; it's not really good in front of the hotel."
