Loved the adjustable bed and big tv But in room 20 the Adjustable bed needs to be looked at as we were woken multiple times during the night with the bed going up and down the remote was on the bedside chest the shower was very outdated and was hot and cold very hard to control

I called the property to cancel as I was unable to continue my trip. A very pleasant man said I had to pay the first night and the second night would be cancelled with no charge but I needed to raise the claim with Wotif . That was an hour on an email chat service. I’ve been charged for full accommodation. Not happy

Locked gates
Stay was comfortable and quiet. Need read all signs and notices... the exit gates were locked until 6:00 am, so my 5:30 am departure was delayed.

Budget motel ok for one night
The room was clean and ok for a one night stay. The bed was ok and the shower was good. Parking wasn't available in front of our room which was annoying as we had a fair bit of stuff to carry in. The room was supposed to be non smoking but people smoking outside our room was most unpleasant and even set off our smoke alarm! As an asthmatic I found the fumes quite annoying

Property was clean and tidy. Room somewhat dated, but still good. Comfortable bed, quiet air cond, good bench space. Hot water was fast and plentiful. Security gated property, which is unfortunately needed in these times of youth crime.

Booked because it said it had a restaurant however no restaurant. It was at least 10min if not 15mins before anyone came to check us in. When leaving at 9.30am no one around the property everything was locked up.

This is to advice, room was booked on different date initially and asked from receptionist toadjust dates and accommodation was provided prior to original booking date.Later check out was suppose to be made at 10 am.However, guest left the room at 1pm with a impulsive behaviour of rudeness and arrogancy towards staff.Later, guest also tried to have one more night without any prior notice or payment.Broken tiles and chipped mugs was never the case and it wasnt notified to manager in such issue.Be Fair

Frankly, I can't understand how this property rates as highly as it does. Unless we just got the worst room they have. • Only one powerpoint behind the bed so had to pull the bed out to access it for chargers & CPAP machine. Bedside lights were meant to be plugged into the powerboard connected to this socket, but weren't, so we plugged them in. • Dust, dead moths & insects on the carpet underneath the bed, which clearly hadn't been vacuumed for some time. A major oversight considering the bed has to be moved away from the wall to access the power. • No free-to-air television reception in room. Office staff explained they had a problem with tv antenna at the moment. Unsure how long it's been out, but I wonder if it would be fixed if we returned in a month (highly unlikely I suspect). Had to connect my ABC iView account to the tv to watch the news. • The amount of black mould under the silicon sealant in the shower was disgusting. Maintenance of bathrooms is clearly an issue. • Exhaust fan in bathroom had a very noisy bearing. The exhaust fan is connected to the same switch as the light for both bathroom & kitchenette bench area. Can't have light in those areas without also having screeching fan bearing noise. • Room was generally clean - surfaces dusted, visible floor areas vacuumed, toilet cleaned, etc. But the style and fittings are definitely dated and could use upgrading to improve room aesthetic. • Impossibly thin toilet paper. Bad economics, as people use 2-3 times more

I did not in any way find the property suitable to my requirements. Staff were not welcoming. I find it unfortunate that in an Australian country town we needed to be locked in at night.

The Motel is priced okay but the shower recess needs barkeepers friend on it to clean up the residue left by the hardness of the water of the area. Other than that I didn’t really have a problem with the accomodation.

Very basic accommodation. Great shower. Sand pots placed outside every room encouraged guests to smoke outside rooms and the smell filled our room all night. It was horrible and we would have left had we had other options.
