"Our check in process was simple and easy. Dez was manning the front desk…he was an absolute pleasure. We had stopped for drinks at the Four Seasons prior to checking in…service there was less than stellar. Dez’ gregarious personality and desire to be hospitable (in the hospitality industry!) stood head and shoulders above the service received at the more prestigious Four Seasons. Kudos to Dez for making a simple process like checking in a joy."

"Nice cabins quiet and personal, cabins a little dated, you have a little kitchen to cook in, but my only complaint would be 1, no exhaust fans for kitchen or bathroom 2, all dials on stove and thermostats numbers are worn off. Its dog friendly so expect dogs "

"Property was great. Room was exquisite! It was equipped with a bookshelf-lined den. The wood was so beautiful. All employees were kind and helpful. Big bonus - homemade cookies in the lobby every day! We loved it. "

"We had the pleasure of arriving opening day (5/17). Scott at the front desk upgraded us to a lovely lake view room. When the heat did not work, Amy immediately went to work to amend the situation (The Lodge's first maintenance call of the season - I'll remember that!). JP with maintenance, Caleb in the Blue Heron, Malcolm in the Pioneer Grill, the pleasant manager of the gift shop - EVERYONE was delightful and so helpful. I wish I could remember all the names. This staff is topnotch! And I have yet to mention the jaw-dropping loveliness of the lodge, with its stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed our too-brief stay. Thank you!"
