Marin View Palace

"The Marine View Palace was a really good hotel for our family who is travelling Japan on a budget. It’s an older hotel so the amenities are quite dated. With that being said, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and it is in a great location for accessing beaches. We could walk to several beaches within 10 - 15 minutes and there were many more beaches within a 20 - 40 minute bus ride. Our favourite beaches were Tiger Beach (10 minute walk) and Nabee Beach (15 minute bus ride). American village is about a 30 minute bus ride. Our hotel room had a large balcony with an awesome view of the ocean. The room itself comfortably fit our whole family (2 adults and 3 kids). Again, everything was very dated but the room had a small fridge, stove top, microwave, and kettle. There were a number of good local restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the hotel and there was also a Lawson Station, Family Mart and 7-11. Would very much recommend the hotel for those travelling on a budget and those who enjoy exploring."

"Wonderful property. Our room had a great view of the beach, was comfortable and very clean. The staff were great, and super helpful. The trip out to the private island to go snorkeling was a highlight of our trip to okinawa, such an amazing place."

"We absolutely loved our room. Spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Gorgeous view from the balcony. Highly recommend! Only complaints are minor. The staff did not speak much English so be prepared for that. Also you cannot use the gym if you do not have designated indoor only gym shoes so be aware of that as well. Great location and nice restaurants at the hotel as well. 2 beautiful pools. Would stay there again!"

"It's a quick walk to the convenience store which is nice. restaurants nearby. bus top is close. the air/heat worked fine. only negative is that the mattresses are not that comfortable, a bit too hard for my taste. other than that, the rooms are good for the price. also it's a quick walk to moon beach for nice views of the ocean. "

"An absolute gem. Staff really very nice, the room was nice, had a nice common area and small bar for guests, and it was very well located. Not a five star hotel, like many of the gigantic hotels in the area, but for what it was, an inexpensive pension, it was really great. No doubt about it, I’d stay there again, and rate it five stars."
