The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. "What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!"

"It's a lovely hotel right on shore of the lake. Room was large and comfortable and the reception staff were very friendly. Dinner was excellent but the breakfast was poor for the money. We struggled getting to the hotel as there were no taxis available from Stressa station. Overall we really enjoyed our short stay and actually enjoyed this area more than Lake Como ."
