Breakfast was very good; they have a variety of fruits and other items, and I really loved the decor. The food and the pool bar was very good, and dinner at the Liberty restaurant was awesome.

It was certainly a beautiful hotel. It needs to be renovated. I was told that this winter they are closing down for a massive renovation project adding a lift and bringing the hotel up to par. The staff were excellent. The pool was divine, as was the general out door area and the bar was elegant but fun. Looking forwards to trying the renovated version. If travelling to see lake Como, it is a fair distance and generally a car is needed.

What an amazing place! Outdoor was perfect and not crowded. Lovely scenery. The food at the restaurant was to die for. And the staff - very helpful and friendly. Especially appreciate the shuttle to the city centre. Shame we couldn’t stay longer but we will be back!!

We stayed at Palace Grand Hotel Varese for one night and had a wonderful experience. The highlight of our stay was the incredible service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, the massage treatment was excellent, and the pool area was a great place to relax. The hotel has a charming old-school elegance that creates a unique atmosphere, and the views from the property are simply amazing. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection and quality offerings to start the day. What impressed us most was the excellent value for money. Considering the quality of the accommodations, facilities, service, and overall experience, the hotel exceeded our expectations. We would happily return and highly recommend Palace Grand Hotel Varese to anyone visiting the area.

The beat in Varese

The best hotel in Varese by far, made even better by the staff who are always so polite & attentive. Rooms are clean, spacious & well appointed, with beautiful views over Lake Varese.

What starts badly ends badly. The reception staff were quite rude, and the duty manager, Carolina, is unpleasant. My experience at the hotel was awful; I didn't feel comfortable from the first moment until the very end. The most tragic thing is that on my last day, the toilet wasn't working. A bathrobe would have been appreciated. The quality-to-service ratio is quite mediocre. The best things about the hotel are the outdoor areas, the pool, and the breakfast!

Such a beautiful special place. The hotel needs some upgrading but the rooms are super clean, I slept like wow and the restaurant, bar, grounds and pool are just gorgeous.
