Great winter stay.

Great hotel. Went in the winter season so not a lot going on but very beautiful. The spa is excellent and very clean. Close to downtown Ascona and the lake. Great alternative to Locarno. Older hotel but very well maintained. Breakfast was also excellent and included

Very Good Hotel

A very good hotel at a reasonable price. The room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps from the balcony. I enjoyed the best ravioli that I’ve ever tasted here (al fresco). There are many peaceful areas to relax. There’s a good fitness centre and a cold jacuzzi (wish it was warmer). Overall, Bravo!

A great way to relax in Ascona

I liked the hotel - quiet, relaxed. The only complaint is I was bitten by mosquitoes while having dinner outside by the pool. The reception offered me ointment which helped the swelling a lot. I liked the food at dinner - Vitelli tonnato as a starter and grilled branzino over vegetables for entree. The white wine was good too!

Excellent place to be near Ascona center

The hotel is from the early 1900 and beautiful renovated and has a lot of charm. Their park with large indoor and outdoor pool (connected) is a strong plus. We enjoyed our stay in a deluxe room on the second floor. The room was functional in modern design with a comfortable bed. Our room had a looked connection door and therefore we had to be careful with the TV volume to not disturb our neighbors. Overall, very positive, we will be back.

Great facilities but in need of modernization

Lovely hotel with indoor & outdoor pools, spa, fitness centre, mini golf in the large gardens, giant chess set, etc. However, the decor is probably from the 1980s and the interior of the hotel would benefit from modernization. Also, it was impossible to get a light snack after 6pm when the only option was to choose off the a la carte restaurant menu. Not ideal as we’d had a late lunch on the waterfront in nearby Ascona.

Resort with Personality

Beautiful Hotel with a personality in a generous setting albeit suffering still from the local tightness of space. Thankfully this resort has some unconstructed properties around it and the gorgeous Maggia river mouth area behind, which is giving quality to its location, not overlookig the own beautiful garden park of course. Making use of the provided bicycles to see the surroundings is a key experience here. Still, (spacious) generosity is not a typical strength of the region it seems unfortuately. Breakfast and staffing is somewhat under par even though personal, if asked, do make an effort generally. It is a pitty that many alpine regions still have this certain close-knit mindset, unfortunately in hopitality as well. It is a shame to comment on a cultural trait which is not responsibility of an establishment but it does hamper the experience for certain visitors and it shall be time to bring it up.

Aufgrund der vielen Wohnungen, die zum Hotel gehören, war es sehr überlaufen, trotz grosser Fläche. Für Kinder sehr schön - die können machen, was sie wollen, da junge Eltern heute nicht mehr kontrollieren. Das Hotel lässt sie machen und der Pool ist für Erwachsene fast nicht nutzbar. Wir waren .it der Familie unserer Tochter da und insofern war es gut Personal sehr freundlich und Küche ausgezeichnet. Preis- Leistung stimmt in dieser Reisezeit überhaupt nicht

Sehr entspannendes Hotel

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einen super gepflegten Riesen Garten. Zimmer sehr komfortabler, Bett sehr bequem, Housekeeping war super. Frühstücks Buffet hat alle Wünsche erfüllt. Genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Nacht sehr ruhig . Wir kommen sicher wieder. Check in - Check out super schnell , waren sehr aufmerksam und haben uns noch Mineralwasser für die Rückreise gegeben

Mooi hotel met een prachtig park en hele mooie wellness. De kamers mogen echt wel gemoderniseerd worden. De prijs is helaas erg hoog, waardoor je al met al toch niet helemaal waar voor je geld krijgt.

Das Hotel ist an einer schönen und ruhigen Lage. Der Empfang ist immer sehr herzlich. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und grundsätzlich sauber. Der kleine Balkon bietet eine gute Sicht auf die grosszügige Gartenanlage und Berge. Der Fitness & Spa war sauber, gepflegt und bietet auch eine tolle Teebar. Der Innenpool ist in die Jahre gekommen und hier fehlt es etwas an der Sauberkeit. Es hat immer und überall genügend Badetücher und auch die kleinen Gäste erhalten Bademantel und Schuhe. Kulinarisch ist es immer top und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ist grosszügig vom Angebot. Leider öffnet der SPA erst um 11 Uhr wenn check-out Zeit ist. So kann man dies bei 1 Übernachtung nur am Anreisetag geniessen.

Schönes Hotel...

Ein wirklich tolles Hotel an schöner und ruhiger Lage. Freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Frühstück ist vielseitig und schön präsentiert. Der Spa-Bereich und das Fitness sind sehr schön und bieten einiges. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet.

Schönes Hotel mit Charme

Eine sehr schöne teils auch rustikale Hotelanlage. Der Wellnessbereich ist ganz neu und sehr modern. Vom herzlichen und freundlichen Hotelpersonal bis zur Live Musik am Abend hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen. Sehr gute und ruhige Lage.

Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen

Wasserhahn uralt und spinnenweben in den ecken. Hotel sollte renoviert werden. Notizen bei der Buchung null respektiert. Man war xx mal da und bei der begruessung: Sind sie heute das erste mal hier ? Null customer focus. Garten schoen. das wars.

Gutes Hotel, etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Wir gehen immer wieder ins Delta. Das Hotel und die Anlage gefallen uns sehr. Dieses Mal hatten wir jedoch ein älteres Zimmer. Das Bad ist nicht auf einem 4* Niveau und das Zimmer war etwas ‚verstaubt‘ (Tote Spinne in der Ecke). Wir kommen wieder - bestehen aber auf ein neues Zimmer.

Erholung pur in schöner Umgebung

Wir haben einen Kurztripp aufgrund schlechter Wetterverhälntnisse in der Deutschschweiz ins Tessin gemacht und sind sehr positiv von der Infrastruktur des Hotels überrascht. Sehr schöne Gartenanlage mit vielen Liegen. SPA und Fitness sind absolut top. Schickes Restaurant. Sehr freundliches und hilfbereites Personal. Kommen sicher gerne wieder.

Sehr schöner, grosser Garten mit Liegewiese und grossem Pool. Das gebuchte Zimmer war ok. Das Badezimmer ist allerdings in die Jahre gekommen und renovationsbedürftig.
