We did a quick search on VRBO and landed on this cabin given its proximity to Minneapolis (not too far away, not too close) along what we assumed would be a nice, scenic drive. First, let’s talk about the location. Despite living 3.5 hours away for the last 20 years, I somehow had zero idea such beautiful topography existed so close by. This cabin is nestled among rolling hills, dropped smack dab in the middle of an area surrounded by expansive apple orchards. It is gorgeous. You’re a short drive to la crosse, a close drive to Prairie Du Chien. "
