"The king room was clean, spacious and recently painted, we were on the 1st floor. The bed is comfortable the pillows are on the small side and not that comfortable but not the worst. The bathroom was also recently updated, new paint and tile work. No mold or mildew anywhere, shower pressure is standard low for a Inn but great temperature. The water is treated so if your not used to that it can feel a little slimy. Good sized and nice towels. The A/C worked great,kept the room at the perfect temp, no weird smells and not overly loud. The loud comes from no soundproofing, the door not fitting right and the garbage collection on Wednesday mornings. You will be woken up by 6am. I suggest earplugs. The amenities are a plus. A microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator in room plus buffet style breakfast. The breakfast room is small but outside seating is available. Lots of options for food. The staff are amazing and really care about this place. Parking can be tight but it's doable. We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and is disability accessible. Overall a clean, comfortable stay."

"My husband and I were mesmerized by the sound of the ocean, we slept with the patio doors open. We went August 20, 2026 and totally enjoyed our room. We lazily drank coffee in bed while waking up and the went down to have breakfast. We dined outside (the patio heaters were on). Excellent and then we walked to the Monterey Aquarium and enjoyed 20 foot aquarium window, sturgeon. jelly fish, very helpful docents."

"Breakfast was pretty tasty with breakfast burritos one day and biscuits and gravy the next. Had room card deactivated twice in two days but front desk reset. Do not expect early check in before 4;00pm…but it is no secret…as advertised. Overall great stay and we will return!"
