"The stay was pleasant, the place is clean and nicely decorated. However, the photos make it look like there are two bedrooms and more space, while in reality, there is only one bedroom and three rooms total. The lack of privacy is an issue, especially with the glass wall between the bedroom and the living room. The sofa bed was hard to use, we couldn’t even unfold it properly. "I absolutely loved the view from the double doors in my room and its balcony, the comfortable bed, the silence between my room and others (I was only on floor 3 but it was very quiet), the grandeur of the hotel although it is almost like a slight pastiche of itself as some of it is a tiny bit jaded/faded. The carpet in my room and garishly tiled but classically designed bathroom are both approximately 40+ years old but I found really comforting as it reminded me of staying at my grandparents! I had dinner and it was absolutely impeccable Service and food and would highly recommend. The reception desk were very efficient and helpful. I loved staying here and would love to come back. Highly recommend. "

"Superb location, stunning views from room and reception, excellent service and facilities. Nicolas at the reception made our stay super special, with his great personality. We observed him making each guest feel valued and special. Nothing was too much trouble and a wealth of information was given to us to make the best of our short 2 night stay. Hotel was next to bus stop, and direct access to the lake side promenade too. Room was very clean, very comfortable beds, amazing shower and a fridge. Loved the shutter for windows and the awnings that cover the balcony in sunnier times. Improvement needed: minor maintenance issue of the power plug cube being broken off its stand on one side of the bed and night stand shades need tightening. 2 coffee pods per day for 2 people in a room is not generous at all, especially when you charge Chf 4 per extra capsule. That said, we had an outstanding stay and the only regret was we were not staying longer. "
