"What a lovely property. I felt like I walked into a wonderful fairy tale. Mike greeted us with hospitality and cheer. Our room had a private entrance. It was such a bright, welcoming space. Clean with all the bells and whistles laid out. Bed crisp and comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. Outdoor sitting area with fire pit, chairs and picnic table is lovely with flowers, fruit trees, string lights, bird feeders. I recommend 100%. I hope to get back up here next year."

"My teenage daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. We had a great time looking for moose, going on the Katahdin ferry cruise, hiking the Appalachian trail, and other activities. The cabin was perfect for us. It had enough space for us both to have our own space as well as for eating together. We appreciated the texts from the owners of the cabin when we had questions (nothing major) and loved being in “moose country. "

"We stayed here with my family to celebrate my dad turning 60. It was such a relaxing place, we cooked out, had a fire, played lawn games, went out on the paddle boat, and had a great time. It’s not far from Monson General Store, which was a bonus. The property was exactly what I was looking for, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need (plus coffee pods and s’mores stuff - thank you!!). Not a negative at all, but to make others aware, this is a true Maine cabin - go easy on the flushing and be patient with the kitchen water pressure. We hope to stay here again in the future!"

"Beautiful, clean, easy to find lakeside rental! Comfortably sleeps 6, direct access to the water for swimming and kayaking with 2 campfire options. Highly recommend!"

"We spent a lovely Saturday - Tuesday up in the area with our friends and this was truly such a gem of a spot. We had the full spectrum of weather, so we were able to take full advantage of both the woodstove (wood provided) on a chilly evening, and use the boat launch and beach access on the sunny days!The beds were incredibly comfy, and my partner-who usually has back issues when traveling- had no issues sleeping and had no pain (a win!)The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots/pans/Tupperware/utensils that we needed to cook, which was perfect since we ate most of our meals at the cabin. Pantry staples were not included (like oil & spices) but we brought our own just in case, so it worked out perfectly.We heard loons on the lake, saw and incredible display of stars at night, and overall had such a great time. We will absolutely be back!"

"House was well stocked with everything including pans, silverware, dishes, towels, shampoo, kayak & canoe, dock, paddles, outdoor seating, fire pit. No bugs outdoors. Only complaint was backyard was not mowed & lots of vegetation around fire pit & no life jackets (had to drive into town to rent some)."
