"I had high expectations for the hotel based off the how expensive it was. However, the room was dirty and had hair on the ground and bedsheets. Our washer broke the first night and noone fixed it. The hotel also does not offer free daily cleaning services."

"L'hôtel très bien situé. Propre et chambre bien. Par contre nous étions au 5eme étage et on avait un côté de plafond en angle près d'un lit a cause des lucarnes et on était au dernier étage. Mon mari s'est blessé en sortant du lit de côté car il faut se pencher mais quand il fait noir on ne voit pas. Le personnel gentil mais ne nous a pas fait visiter , donc on n'a su qu'à notre dernière journée qu'il y avait du café un micro onde accessible et des salons ou on pouvait relaxer. Buffet déjeuner correct sans plus."

"This is a lovely boutique hotel. The room (superior) was fabulous, the bed very comfy and the shower was one of the best ever in a hotel - powerful and hot! The staff on reception were very smiling and helpful as were the bar/catering staff. The only "quirky" bit was that breakfast was served in the Brown's Central hotel some 20 yards down the street - but it was a very good breakfast, well worth the walk! We'll be back next time we're in Lisbon."

"We stayed three nights in June here. The location is great - a few bus stations are near by with mins walk; the train station is about 6 mins walk away. A market is right under the window and you can find food and small stuff there. The famous Tram 28 is mins away, other famous places like the Castelo de S. Jorge, Praça do Comércio and Miradouro das are in walkable distance (but there will be up and down hills though). The breakfast buffet is good. Now the down side of of this place: the double bed is very small, the toilet sewer system makes loud noise when you flush the toilet, taking shower or wash hands; the towel is worn out; the shower tub is very small and the shower door threshold is very high ( 1 foot+) so it’s definitely not suitable for people with limited mobility; also I do not see elevators. Btw, the hotel name is same as the square name and it took me some time to find it at night!"

"If all you want is a bed near all of the most important areas this will get you there. The front desk staff were awesome and very helpful. The room was not. Within the first 10 minutes I had to squish a crawling bug of some sort. The room was tidy but here are a few of the downsides. Th bathroom although updated, was dirty in the shower and surrounding silicone lines. The light over the sink not installed & hanging by a wire from the ceiling. Same for a light in the main room. The bed was sagging on both sides but able to sleep anyway, the bed only had sheets, no blankets. The window looked out to the other rooms, space was no bigger than the bathroom. Super convenient to everything."
