Staying right on the property for my dives is a dream—the rooms are beautiful, and going straight from your room to an amazing dive is ultimate convenience. The restaurant has the perfect laid-back beach vibe, serving incredibly fresh seafood and great drinks right on the sand. Excellent service “@Juma” and the absolute best beachfront spot in Diani. "I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. The Maisha Spa is always worth a visit. The property is beginning to show signs of aging so I hope there are plans to upgrade it, while not loosing its Swahili Coast charm. I have been a fan for a long time and will be back again!"
