"Not the cozy, quaint ryokan I expected, with busloads descending, but the onsen was lovely. Room was spacious but basic. Practically located 10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station. The amenities like massage machines, free latte machines, etc are great."

"The rooms were clean and impeccible. The staff helpful and friendly. The onsen (public bath) clean and relaxing. The pajamas on the made beds every day were a nice touch. Coffee/tea in room refreshed daily, also replenished toiletries as well.There could be more washing machines for the amount of people who wanted to use the laundry, but if you go early you can find an open washer. Overall a very pleasant hotel."

"Positives Omg we must have booked this hotel by accident, but it was a good accident. It was the best hotel that we stayed at in Japan and the best sleep we had. The room was like a large flat which included a massage chair, a huge queen size bed, breakfast table and 3 fridges one which sells adult merchandise, I basic fridge and the other which has drinks and snacks to purchase. The bathroom was luxurious with expensive appliances including a television, and a jacuzzi bath and all the pampering that you could wish for. Oh, and don’t forget the toilet that washes and dry’s you. Also a huge tv with karaoke facilities. Full Japanese cooked breakfast is included with the price that we paid for and was delicious, it is served in your room through a hatch at the time requested. Tea and coffee facilities and a microwave This hotel is for adults only. With adult extras so ….. Negative - This hotel is located within a complex alongside other establishments providing similar services. There are no local shops in the immediate vicinity, and the train station can be reached with a walk of approximately 10 to 15 minutes. "

"Wonderful hotel with so many useful amenities. The in house bakery was fun. We made use of the laundry and fitness room. Great location close to a number of temples. Nice sized room and very clean. Despite all the hustle and bustle we never were disturbed by any noise inside the room. "

"Everything went really well. The kiosk that they want you to check in at, you have to pay a tax and it didn’t take my debit card for some reason. You needed a card with a PIN. We tried 3 different people on our party, and none of our cards worked. So we were scrambling trying to find the tax money in yen. It wasn’t expensive, I just wasn’t prepared for it. I hadn’t gone to an ATM to get more yen."

"This property was recommended by a local friend as this was my 2nd Kyoto visit within 2yrs. Incredibly convenient location & a few mins walk to Kyoto Station. Many convenience store & small restaurants in the immediate area as we tried a small local izakaya pub late at night after a late arrival around 9pm. It is an incredible value as we researched & reserved the room from Hawaii, & paid at the property. Only 1 concerns & recommendations for the hotel management team: Install a Master DIMMER switch on the wall by the room entrance door! If one PULLS OUT the room key which is necessary to activate all the lights in the room, everything will go 100% dark. So if you are a senior citizen, a “night light” or a master dimmer will allow you reduce the overall level of brightness in the room. Again it is ALL on & remove the room key from the lighting master key slot, everything will go totally DARK…This recommendation should be researched. Perhaps maybe even include a portable plug-in “night light” in the respective rooms as a thoughtful option for SENIORS who wake up in the middle of the night to use the toilet WITHOUT blazing ALL the light in every area of the room. I’m convinced that this will incur a minor cost, but will pay off dividends in spades, as a very small addition to making this property & the respective rooms a bit more user friendly & accommodating to senior travelers.. "The room and bathroom were so tiny, so we need to squeeze between table and bed, tolet seat and wall. There no closet for your clothes. Many breakfast pictures aren’t what is shown on website. Location is good only for transportation - metro is close by, but no supermarket nearby and restaurant is not available at the hotel."
