"Nice new hotel located just a short walk from train station. Friendly service, clean and with a surprisingly spacious room. Good place to stay if you are looking to spend the night in Uji"
"I would mot recommend this accommodation. The location is great, but it is barely enough equipped, not very clean, and there is no other way than to disturb the host to get in the house every time you come in. It could be a nice place to stay if the host improves it, but as it is, it is definitely not worth the price! "
"The house was great and in perfect condition.
Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful.
Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it.

"A great affordable hotel that has Japanese style room setup and communal baths. Really close to train station and convenient to restaurants and shopping malls. Great experience to stay in the hotel. "

Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel is across the street on the south side of Kyoto station (the less busy side) and is beside a large vertical mall. Makes for very convenient access to the train and subway lines, although Kyoto station is not the easiest to navigate."
"Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and it's amenities are incredible, they thought of everything.
At the lobby, you can enjoy free coffee capsules and it is a rather pleasing lobby."
"Love, love this hotel. 5 minutes walk from the Kyoto station.
Complementary lattes and matcha at the lobby. Breakfast selections were exceptional.
The hot springs were amazing. The massage chairs were a great additions to end our day after all the walking.
Complementary ice cream all day and late night ramen can’t ask for anything more.
The staff were very attentive.
Will come back in a heart beat.
