"A run down property, poorly maintained. The gym is dirty with 1 bumbell of each weight no pairs, staff barely understands english. Room attendant did a good job. Breakfast was OK and really why i booked here. A real 2 star spot. "

"This suite had gorgeous views and discounts at Poin and restaurants within the building. Centrally located. Getting in the building is tricky, but there’s always someone around to help. The room could have been cleaner. Food products were on the door, hair stuck to doors, and ants. Other than that, it was a great stay. "

"Whole night loud noises of the motorbikes, rooftop bar with rides people screaming like crazy. Front desk lady absolutely rude. Elevators were broken long wait time to go up and down. In the apartment no hot water constantly. "

"The room was smaller than I expected, it was clean but a few teenagers that I had to keep killing so they wouldn’t go in my things. The staff was polite and kind. Hardly any English but I used Google Translate so it wasn’t bad. The breakfast was okay, they just needed a wider variety and for it to be hot. The outside of the building would make you not book it if you saw it in person but the interior is very clean and nice. The area looks not so safe, but each time I went outside we were safe so don’t watch the location. There is a nice restaurant across from the casino, the food is great there. As well as a burger cart. The burger slack and it’s for $2.50. My overall experience was good I give them a 4 star. Would go back if I’m traveling to Panama again. I do hope the exterior is upgraded though and them teenagers gone."

"The property is good overall. The location is close to most major attractions.The lobby looks nice, spacious and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and speaks little English but was able to use translation.Free parking in the garage which is safe and secured. The room is spacious. AC is very good. Free breakfast! There's rooftop pool and bar. There are 2 things we do not like: (1) There's no hairdryer (not in the room, not at the lobby); (2) The room key has to be reset everyday but we was not notified about it. Everytime we came back to the room, we could not open the door and had to come down to the lobby. That's why I gave it 4 stars."

"I had a very disappointing experience staying at The Poin in Panama. When we arrived, we were unable to access the rental and spent hours trying to figure out how to get in. We were not able to enter the unit until around 7 PM, which wasted a large part of our first evening. To make matters worse, the elevators in the building were not working, and there was no one available at the reception desk after 6 PM to assist. There were also no clear instructions or parking numbers provided for where we were supposed to park our car, which made the arrival process extremely frustrating. Once we finally got into the unit, the problems continued. The shower flooded after the very first use, and there were ants throughout the apartment. It was clear the property had not been properly prepared for guests. Communication with the host was also very poor. Messages went unanswered for hours, and the host never picked up the phone when I called. Because of all the delays and issues just trying to get into the property and deal with the problems, we were not able to enjoy many of the amenities that were advertised and that influenced our decision to book this place. Overall, this stay was very frustrating and far below expectations. I would not recommend this rental unless these issues are addressed and communication with guests improves significantly. I checked into this property on my birthday and had a dinner and a restaurant full of guest waiting for me that I couldn’t assist. "
