We stayed two separate times at Hotel Casa Panama. Location is amazing to walk around the Casco Antiguo. The bad news are that on Saturday night they have parties on the rooftop, if you are on the second floor you won't be able to sleep at all.

The property is located in The Old City District of Panama City. If you enjoy the colonial architecture and the traditional Latin vibe, this property is great. Within walking distance of restaurants, entertainment and shopping. The area is a little reminiscent of Cuba, minus the 1950 era automobiles.

Great rooms and location was perfect!. Right at the beginning of casco viejo so you can walk right into all the restaurants and easy enough to get an uber to go to any trips outside. Highly recommend!

The location was good for my purposes. I chose a balcony room as the pictures had an amazing view but my balcony faced the alley and had multiple AC units right next to the 1 chair provided. Very disappointed especially with the loud music coming from the rooftop bar every night until one or 2 o’clock in the morning. I would not recommend reserving a balcony room if you want to get any sleep. I never had an opportunity to use the pool, but it is on the top floor where a restaurant is so it’s not very accessible to hotel patrons.

This hotel was great! I had an overnight layover, so I didn’t get to explore as much as I would have liked to, but there was plenty to see in the vicinity of the hotel. There’s a park across the street with a nice pedway by the water, a restaurant next door that has a dinner show at 8pm with great food, and a rooftop patio right upstairs. The room was a bit smaller than anticipated, but as a solo traveller, it had everything I needed. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, too. I’ll definitely book here again!

Hotel is very near the ocean and you can walk to a lot of shops within 15 minutes. A very nice rooftop pool and restaurant on the rooftop for lunch the day we checked out and they were very hospitable. We can recommend this to anybody don’t be afraid of the inexpensive hotel room price. It was excellent with stone walls in the interior and also in the rooms it has an elevator.

Staff was friendly. hotel looks rundown, rooms need renovation. Flaky TV - works with magic, air conditioning was good. Noise isolation is poor. Can hear the rooftop bar music and chairs and tables moving. Great location. Bartender is knowledgeable - can make any cocktail properly.

We stayed here for one night and it was a great choice for a quick stopover. The location is absolutely perfect, just a few steps away from the old town, which made exploring very easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home immediately. While the room was a bit on the small side and the walls were somewhat thin (you can hear some noise from the hallway), it was perfectly fine for a single night. Clean, convenient, and great service. Would definitely recommend if you want to be in the heart of Casco Viejo.
