Just settled in. Seems like an okay place for its age. Clean and tidy. Lady at the check in was nice to deal with. Room is a bit small but all I needed is a place to sleep. Bed is firm the way I like them to be. The TV wouldn’t work but it didn’t take long to realize it wasn’t plugged in. It’s nothing fancy but decent value for the money.

Small woman owned business. Old building but very clean. Hot shower, good pressure and the hair dryer works awesome

There was holes in the blankets, it smelled terrible in there, the mattresses had huge stains, it was the worst motel have ever stayed in

The barely warm water to shower in the morning. Also, a must is to take you own pillow. Horrible pillows and the bed is almost as bad. I did laugh aloud when the smoke detector wasn't there, but the wires were sticking out of it. Also don't cut yourself on there very rusty baseboard heater in bathroom.

Hello Bryce, We apology for inconvenience. The shower has option to increases cold water to hot water. Each rooms have extra pillows option that you find in room. We have heat and smoke detector in all the rooms. and yes the base board heater is old but they can not hurt but will take this issue to management and will change with new one.

The motel was just OK. The room had laminate wood grain flooring, and this hid dirt. Lots of dirt. Something that I didn't notice until after my shower when I noticed that the soles of my bare feet were turning mud brown. If it had been clean, I would have rated this motel a 4.

A couple years ago we stayed there and weren’t impressed. This time they put us in another side that had been rebuilt years ago after a fire. The new room was big with comfortable beds and water that was hot right away. Very happy

The property was clean, but dated. The price we were charged was completely out of line with the quality of the property. Way too expensive for the caliber of hotel/motel. DO NOT BOOK through expedia - just call them directly and you'll get a better price.

This was our 2nd stay at the Gateway. We actually got the same room as before. Our TV had 2 remotes and neither of them worked. . We called the office and a lady came over to try to fix it b0ut she did not understand that the remotes were universal remotes and had to be hooked up with the TV. Nice to see that they had a better breakfast than last year. Close to all of the Main St. businesses. The bath tub could not stay filled because the plug would not stay down. The water would not stay how enough either just very hot and then right down to very cool. We would still stay there if we went back to Minnedosa.
