"This is a no frills resort. If you're looking to get of the beaten pay this the place . We loved it walking distance on the beach to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island , not white beach, much nicer. Restaurant has a limited selection but some tasty local foods . We rented a motorcycle for 4days best thing ever as we saw the island at our own pace. Support staff fantastic and liokes after us . Very rustic rooms gret experience."

"By far, OYO Rockssar was the best 2-star hotel we experienced in this 3 week trip in the Philippines from Iloilo to Cebu (OYO in Moalboal cancelled on us last minute so not impressed =(), to Panglao, Coron then back to Manila. "Simple, but clean and comfortable. We booked a little room with bunk beds but we actually slept together in the bottom bunk, no problem at all! Has a nice nautical theme running through the guest house. Aircon is cold, shower is hot if you want it. Off road parking for bikes right outside. Susan, the owner, very friendly. Idyllic beachfront hotel in the heart of El Nido

"Lovely hotel right on the beachfront with breath taking ocean views and close to everything in El Nido. Nice buffet breakfasts with nice rooms. Note this is in the no car / van zone of El Nido so a tricycle is needed at certain restricted times if you need to travel to the transport terminal. Friendly and helpful staff. They also offer transport and excursion bookings. "

"Upon arrival we were greeted with juice and friendly staff. Our room was very big and clean. They had toiletries and fresh linen. You do need to walk up and down stairs at the property and the staff can help with your bags. The pool feels great and is shaded. They have rooms service and can bring drinks poolside. The staff at front desk can also help in booking tours and excursions. We loved it. Location is great and can walk easily to Coron Town Proper just watch out for tuktuk’s. City is very lively! Great bang for your buck! "
