"What a lovely hotel! Really excellent customer service from all of the staff. I had requested a room with exposed timber beams, and on check in, the member of staff (sorry, I didn't catch your name) went out of his way to ensure that this was what we got. The room was lovely! Beautifully furnished with sumptuous fabrics, comfortable bed and sofa. There is plenty of parking which seemed very safe. The hotel is in the middle of the small village, so well located for exploring. Also easy to walk to...

"The restaurant and garden are nice and the service was good. Good selection on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan. The food was very good. Unfortunately the accommodation is extremely tired and is in desperate need of updating / painting. I have been generous with 3 stars as we ate in the restaurant both in the evening and morning. If you are looking for a place to eat which is dog friendly this is perfect."

"Really lovely family run pub, Simon and Amy are wonderful nothing is too much trouble. This is the first place my husband who has numerous allergies has been where he has had actual options. The food is all excellent and we know we pretty much ate our way through the entire menu. Our dogs were made welcome and we had a lovely stay. "
