"I loved the interior decor of the hotel and the ambience. The rooms were in good condition for the age of the property. All the staff were super friendly and helpful but at times there were not enough especially at breakfast time. The breakfast choices were a bit similar with brioche buns or sourdough on most dishes making it hard to choose if bread is not your thing. "

I was offered an upgrade for a very reasonable price but declined and the standard room I had was more than sufficient and had everything I needed. "We had such a wonderful stay here, particularly loving the stable room with its peace and quiet and enormous king bed. We arrived late and went for a walk around the Secret Garden at sunset which was completely magical .. followed by delicious food and cocktails in Harry’s Bar. I have to say the bar and serving staff were exceptional, friendly and smiling and welcoming, on a busy night they remained top class throughout. Highly recommend this hotel for a romantic break, it pressed our reset...
