"Its a lovely old coaching inn and although decor a bit tired in places, and some modernisation would be welcome in the bathroom in particular it is still beautifully reminiscent of an old inn with lovely old furniture. Rooms could also benefit from at least 1 USB port cos i can't be the only person to forget a plug for my charger cable 🙃 though the people are so helpful they could have lent me one 😀 We were there for a party in the lovely back room, I would definitely consider it as a venue in the future. I would also definitely stay again. Dog friendly, quite level throughout with good disabled access and facilities, delicious food - we had a Sunday roast - and lovely friendly and helpful staff. One of the best Greene King places I have ever experienced. "

"Very polite and helpful staff, they fixed the small issues we had, without a quibble. Breakfast is expensive at £16 per person, but it’s ok for the price. Was not the first time and we will be back for sure. "
