"This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!"

The property owner is responsive and helpful. We lucked out with great weather: sunny and clear views of Katahdin, with ice still on the lake and piles of snow from a spring snowstorm. This property would have been great with any weather. Cannot recommend highly enough"

"The pictures don't do this property justice, it is much better than you expect. Plenty of room for a few families. So clean and very well stocked kitchen! We came during snow and ice still on the lake, but I can imagine what a perfect place for the summer too. Loved how friendly everyone is in the area. Plenty of room - and fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, etc.) and bathroom to make it easy to just arrive (best to arrive with groceries though - it takes awhile to get back to any shops!). Bald eagles (and a golden eagle sighting) were quite a bonus."

"We came up for the eclipse extended weekend and were pleasantly pleased with how friendly and thoughtful our host was. She took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They left us 2 pair of eclipse glasses, bottle of wine and plenty of kitchen/bathroom amenities. The pellet stove was simply fantastic!...
