"An absolute Gem of an Hotel & Restaurant with only one gripe our room didn't have a window as such, it was a skylight which made the room a little claustrophobic for my wife, probably not an issue for most guests. The room was extremely clean and stylish, complementary water was provided and the standard tea, coffee and biscuits. There was a decent sized TV, we did struggle to find the standard channels something wr will ask about on our next stay, the TV is a Smart one so YouTube is available. On the whole a comfortable room and a good bed and pillows. We had booked a table for dinner, so glad we did, I chose Changezi Murgh (chicken thighs) unbelievable taste, Wife chose Onion Bhaji, the best she has had. Mains we were at fault having Spicey, we both chose Prawn Schezwan me with Rice Wife chose Spicey Noodles, the food was sensational but far too hot for us. For breakfast the following morning, I would highly recommend the Bombay Omelette. We are looking forward to returning later in the year travelling down from Nottingham just to simply relax and dine. The service and dining experience was faultless. Keep up the good work and well done to all the Team, front of house, kitchen and room service."

"Very welcoming arrival with a small tour around the grounds. Rooms clean and suitable for the 1 night we was there. Small communal area with tv, fridge and basic cooking equipment was a great little touch."

"Chapel House is a beautiful house, which is spacious, well equipment and very comfortable. The location is excellent as you have places to go from the front door and a short drive away. We visited the house during the very warm summer period we had and the property was very warm but fans are available to help keep it comfortable. The outside space is limited but we knew that when we booked it but the space inside is amazing. Recommend staying if your looking for a stay in the Cotswolds and want to travel and explore or just stay local for a few days"

"Beautiful setting right on the river. Lovely food. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, but the floor sloped, which meant that things rolled off the bedside table if you weren't careful, but not a serious problem."

"We really enjoyed staying here. The staff were lovely. The room was nice. The dog was welcomed. The food was good. There was plenty of parking. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a in a nice spot. It was easy to find. We would definitely stay here again. Delightful."
