Nice & clean with breakfast but far from main city
Positive: Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean & spacious room, wifi works great Negative: 10-20 min walk to station depends on your pace Too far from main city, at least an hour or more to get there depends on train schedule

Thank you for your kind review. We've appreciated it a lot. From us to underground station is no more than 5 minutes walk. Our station is Cascina Burrona. next station (Vimodrone) is more far. We are 15minutes from Central railway station and 20 minutes from Sforza Castle which is 5 minutes from Duomo square. best regards

A calm and cozy experience with friendly staff.
My experience was great, the staff are super friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was decent, not many options but good overall. The room was good with a clean toilet.

Friendly staff
Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't like the location as it was very noisy because of the surrounding traffic . Metro trains stopping 2 stop before the hotel stop after 9 pm fir some strange strange reasons and you have to take a bus and waste 1 hour to get to the hotel or pay for a taxi as well as train. Not much shops or restaurants nearby. Didn't like the location overall.

Supposedly the best hotel in the area, the staff are lovely but the hotel rooms desperately need investment. Poor area, poor hotel.

Dear Sir, You booked an economy room. You saved money. If you spent just a little bit you could have a better large room. Our area is outside the city but it's not absolutely poor. We are next a big Mall.and very close to Underground. Beside that we are receiving plenty of compliments that you can read in different review. We assume We are not so "poor". Actually we are very lovely with guests but unfortunately you weren't.

Lovely room, nice staff and very friendly. Easy 15 minute access to central Milan on the metro. Supermarket over the road too.

Good hotel near metro station & hypermarket
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with 2 double-bed rooms. The price was not cheap probably due to the Milan Expo period, but there were many plus points that left us good impression of the place.

Vimodrone Hotel
This hotel was way out of the way to get back to the airport. The room was fine but they did not tell us that the food in the fridge was a bar tab. We thought it was complimentary. Parking was not good and getting into hotel was inconvenient. Also to get wifi was a pain.

Dear Sir/Madame, In any hotel is the world Minibar is to be paid if you take something. Price list is on the desk.- It's the first time to us that someone think that all drinks and snacks are free. Our Wi-fi is completely free and very easy to use. Just click the key WWW on remote control and a code appears on TV. That's all. We understand no-more-young people may find difficult many issues but we are always keen to help our guests. We wish you the best.

Was unhappy with always having to get a code from the tv to use the internet. The tv went out and had to wait for service, but then was given a code for 24 hours, not the usual 3 hours. Staff was friendly breakfast was good.

Dear Mrs Mary, I don't understand what was wrong with you. We need some MINUTES for the Check-In procedures and Network is available. You can have as many internet code ( always FREE) you want just clicking on the key WWW on remote control and it appears on TV. It last 3 hours. This keeps the network very fast and accessible. Everyone is very happy of our Wi-Fi for that. At reception we can give 24h Wi-Fi code if requested. Thank you so much for your time spent in writing this nice review.

Good quality with a few minor issues
The breakfast was of excellent quality. The service is nice, the attitude of the staff is very good. Unfortunately, one can hear airplanes at night. Also, the bathrooms are very old and not very nice looking. Our bathroom had a very tiny tub with a very low shower (160 cm,) not for taller people. For what it is, an older hotel, they are doing a very good job.

Basic but unpretentious with excellent staff
The hotel doesn't pretend to be anything it isn't - it's basic but clean, tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly. It has a very welcoming feel and I'd have no hesitations staying there again. If you're looking for the lap of luxury then this isn't the hotel for you but if your budget is a little more modest then look no further.

Chose this hotel to be near Linate airport.
Long taxi ride from Milan's central train station, but even longer ride to Linate airport! Hotel stay itself was pleasant though. Desk staff couldn't have been more helpful. Great little restaurant next door.

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review. Milan city center Corso Buenos Aires) is only 8-9 km from us. Linate Airport is only 8km from us. If you take eastern ring to reach us then you have to drive 11km. Next time tell taxi driver NOT to take motorway) .. there is the way through Segrate that is only 8 KM from Linate Airport. "excellent value for money"
This hotel is only 7 km from Linate airport and the quality of the rooms and the breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff are as good as many other 3 star hotels I stayed in Milan, but cheaper than city centre hotels. The taxi from the airport cost me 25 euro because I arrived late at night) but after that all the travels I made were with the Metro which is extremely cheap (1 or 2 euros per trip). The Metro stop is 5 minute walk from the hotel and it takes 20 minutes to the Duomo. Very convenient, and much cheaper compared to city centre hotels. While the suburb it is located in is not a touristic place, there is a huge supermarket across the (busy) road nearby. So if one prefers to buy food and eat quietly in the room - it is extremely convenient. There is nothing fancy about the hotel, but overall it is excellent value for money.

The hotel itself was clean and tidy. Relatively easy to get to considering the distance to travel to central Milan. The location while not ideal for what we were looking for (too far to walk to central Milan). Was easy to get to by metro. The staff were helpful and pleasant and even allowed our friend to check in early although the booking was not in her name and we were going to meet later in the afternoon. The cost was a selling point and if not worried about travel time approx 10 stops from Centrale on Metro. Arcobaleno could be for you. It is an industrial style area however it was quiet compared to some of the hotels we stayed in Milan city. Would recommend if you have a car or want to be outside of the town itself.

Great Value Hotel
My fiance and I stayed here when visiting Milan for the Italian Grand Prix. As this is an expensive weekend for hotels in Milan we couldnt afford more than a 3* hotel slighlty outside the city. This hotel was an excellent choice. Whilst there is nothing of note to see or do around the hotel, it is very convenient for the Metro which is only 15 mins ride to the centre of Milan and runs til gone midnight. The staff were very friendly and helpfull with most staff knowing enough English to communicate well where my broken Italian failed! The hotel room was very clean and well serviced every day. The air con was excellent. Quiet and quick to cool the room. Only issue we really had was that the roomed smelled like it had been a smoking room once upon a time when we asked for non-smoking. It wasnt that bad though and certainly wouldnt put me off. Surrounding area felt safe and was quiet at night. If you are looking for a clean & comfortable base from which to explore Milan without breaking the bank for anything flash, this is perfect. Thanks!

We felt a bit deceived by location. Close to metra, but not as close to Linate airport as hotels.com originally stated. It was more than 3 miles and cost 30 Euros for taxi.

Bom hotel mas longe do centro de milao.
Bom quarto e ótimo cafe da manha. Atendimento cordial c o turista. Único problema é a localização. Embora esteja a menos de 10 min da estação do metro, fica mais 40 minutos do centro de milao.

La mia famiglia ed io abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questa struttura che si trova in una posizione strategica dovuta alla vicinanza della stazione della metropolitana e della disponibilità nel posteggiare l'auto. Se proprio devo fare un appunto l'albergo avrebbe bisogno di cambiare gli infissi e la porta del bagno nella camera. Il personale molto disponibile e gentile.

Abbiamo alloggiato per un'unica notte. Tuttavia, abbiamo avuto modo di vedere la gentilezza di tutto il personale, dal check-in fino al check-out. La stanza era spaziosa e ricca di servizi (kit bagnodoccia, asciugamani, possibilità di usufruire del servizio lavanderia e frigobar). Mi ha colpita particolarmente la pulizia di questo hotel. Sia la camera da letto che il bagno erano puliti e in ordine. La colazione al mattino è stata particolarmente gradita dopo una giornata frenetica a Milano.

Do hotelu Arcobaleno jezdíme čtyři roky, jsme velmi spokojení, hotel je sice starší, ale majitel je velmi milí a vstřícný, pobyt je vždy příjemný 😘.
