My room didn’t have power outlets. The keys demagnetized if they were anywhere your phone. The surrounding area is all under construction. The parking is limited and part of the public parking system. Staff was super friendly though.

Lo único que tiene este lugar son 2 cosas es que está muy bien ubicado y Serafín en frondesk del resto este lugar necesita una renovación ASAP en todas las áreas, limpieza , toda la condición. ( hay cucharadas, los pasilllos huelen a mold, cigarro marihuana, los baños muy descuidados llenos de pelos, las camas OMG son unas hamacas literal, las almohadas, toallas TODO en una condición muy pobre realmente no es un lugar para descansar, es un solo para dejar tu equipaje e irte a la playa TODO EÑ DIA regresar muy tarde en la noche cansado donde no veas nada… no repetiría este lugar…

Stayed here for one night before a cruise. It honestly was NOT clean. Carpet in hallways had stains, hard floor in the rooms were dirty and covered with sand. Bathroom sink pipes were leaking. Shower had mold around the caulking. Housekeeping staff left dirty bedding and towels on the hallways all night. They were left outside of multiple rooms, not just one room. The elevator didn’t work-which was okay for us…but definitely not accessible for others. The front desk staff were fine, not overly friendly. Construction was going on around the building and I know that is out of their control but it sucked having to walk around it to get to the beach.

The construction and their "remodeling" is outrageous. You get put in a whole other building than what you paid for and its disgusting and moldy! They have a lot to do before anyone should stay there!

The property is located close by the beach, which is very convenient to go into the beach. However the property looked really old with the rooms and bathrooms too old. There was only a shower and not faucet in the bathtub. Overall I was not very much satisfied.

The property is very old and is work in progress. This is not a brand new 5 star hotel. It's very local and the real Miami Beach feel. I love it here though and have stayed twice and will return. Love it here!!

Location to the beach was great. Room was VERY old. TV did not work. 1 outlet in the room. Basically you get 4 concrete walls, a concrete ceiling, and concrete floor. Plain as can be. There was construction right out the front door (not their fault but it sucked) I bet this place was amazing in 1950. We will stay again because of the location and price.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting and not clean. The elevator was broken and we had to lift out 50 pound suitcase up 3 flights of stairs. The hotel is absolutely filthy and nothing like what they show online. I would never stay here again. We did not even sleep in the hotel it was so dirty. We had to pay for a new hotel because the filth and stains everywhere.

NO ACCESS TO BEACH UNLESS YOU WALKED ALONG WAY, THERE WAS CONSTRUCTION RIGHT IN FRONT OF BUILDING. Building in poor condition. Rooms not like they look like in the photo. Look photoshopped. Elevator very slow. I could get to the top of the Empire State Building faster. Construction in front of the building nobody told us about. No water pressure. Very expensive for what it was.

Horrible. Pictures are doctored. Was a dump. No view, failed to mention that construction was going on. Area by hotel felt unsafe. Only slept there, left early in morning for a cruise. Spent $200.00 with room initial charge/taxes and fees upon arrival. Lesson learned.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. The hotel itself is a step below Bates. Old, smelly, uncomfortable and NOTHING like the photos shown on Expedia website! We were hoodwinked and bamboozled! Upon check in we were told the room booked was in the economy section of the hotel and I use that word loosely. Economy gets you bed with springs popping thru, clean sheets no comforter. ABlinds missing, door only has feadboltt, tv sitting on a 18" side table, dust covered furniture, and construction! Beachfront is in front of the construction so have to walk a few blocks just to get to it. Not impressed at all! If I had known ANY of this it would not have been booked.

The pictures on the website do not match the property at all!!, they are either edited or done by A.I. Pretty sure families are living in the hotel. The pool is ice cold, gross and no where close to what the photo shows. The bathtubs are beyond disgusting, the toilets are those of a public restroom. The carpet throughout is stained and torn. They told us to take a hot shower or eat a cup a noodle when we asked for a blanket because there was only a sheet on the bed and a ratty blanket in the closet. Our room was upgraded but it just got worse so we left to another hotel and were refused a refund. You pay a resort fee but there are no amenities that require one!!!lol towels are old. No blow dryer in rooms, we got one once we complained. The property has not been updated or had any updates or upkeep to it. The bathrooms have mold and about 17 layers of paint to try to hide it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, ENERGY OR TIME ON THIS PLACE AS YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! Expedia needs to remove it from its website ASAP. We did not feel safe and do not recommend this place to anyone. ITS A SCAM!!

Pros: Staff is friendly and helpful, has a little taco spot for snacks, affordable Cons: There is construction outside so part of the parking lot is blocked off, iron but no ironing board, only one hair dryer for entire hotel, no safe in room, no hotel phones in room, there were no lights in the room other than the bathroom so it got extremely dark during the evenings, bathroom is pretty janky - it's the bare minimum. If you're looking to save money on lodging, this place is OK. It was a bit disappointing. Asked the staff to help with a favor, they agreed and then avoided the phone when we tried to call back to ask why they weren't doing the favor...it was a bit odd.

Our first night was not spent in the room we had booked. It seemed that someone was already in it when we arrived to check in. We were sent to the building next door. The room smelt strong of chemicals, and was not in a condition I would have wanted to stay in. We were moved to the room we paid for our second night, which was in better condition. Lacked outlets, but being an older building that made sense. Staff was polite, but did not offer anything for the error. Would not stay again.

There’s a man who works at the front desk who is insanely rude, stubborn and condescending. He should NOT be working in hospitality. The rooms are nasty, there was terrible construction outside we weren’t warned about, the shower is either cold or scolding hot and ZERO water pressure. I’ve been to a lot of low star hotels and they’re fine. This one is the worst. Do not stay here

Noise level on the room floors were loud from 2:00-6:00am. There was a homeless person blasting music from a speaker and singing just outside the windows that have a balcony which started at 7:00am through 10:30. The whole room was moist and damp with condensation when we first entered the room because the AC was blasting in the room prior to us arriving and the raining humid conditions outside. This moisture saturated into the sheets, furnishings, and left the floors slippery.

The online profile of this property is deceptive. It looks beautiful online. The area was not safe. Someone threaten to shoot us as we got out of car and went to building. The walls have big chipped holes, rust, hot water in bathroom had no pressure. Mold everywhere, plugs fell out of wall, or didn’t work at all. The place needs a serious remodel. It looks like they just painted it and did no repairs in decades.

We arrived at the broadmore on a Saturday night, the area around the hotel felt unsafe with many homeless around, there is only public parking. The lobby is seemingly nice but very outdated and doesn’t look like the pictures, the staff at front desk were friendly enough. Elevators were nearly inoperable as they took SO LONG, we got into the economy room and it was so dirty, floors were gritty, light didn’t work, holes in the wall, musty odor throughout building, carpets were extremely filthy, hallways ominous and dimly lit like a horror film. We immediately decided we didn’t want to stay longer than 1 night. Expedia helped us out but buyer beware this hotel is not what it seems despite the good deal, look elsewhere.

The property looks worn down, and the bathroom in my room has a wall that started chipping off. It would be nice if they renovate and update some of their facilities because they have a marketable area. The staff were helpful and there is a nice Taqueria downstairs. Other than that I like the location because it was near the beach.

We sincerely apologize for the inability to create a better experience while staying with us. We are an independent property on the beach allowing guests to focus on the beauty of the beach on a budget, we offer limited amanitas. I'm sorry we failed to meet your expectations while staying with us.
