The water pressure was very low and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Throw pillows on the bed had slob on them and it was hair in the shower from before. Staff was very friendly.

The staff was friendly, Chris at the front desk was helpful and knowledgeable. The property was okay. Not as updated as I would hope a hotel associated with Clevelander would be. I searched family friendly hotels and Essex came up as an option, but kids are not allowed in the pool and there is no alternate option, we did not know that until it was too late. They have an area on the beach however, the hotel is on 10th street and the beach area they have is over on 15th street, that was a little inconvenient. The staff was nice and if I were with just adults the things above would not have bothered me. This place is a good stay if your looking for somewhere to just sleep, it's in a great location to explore South Beach.
