"I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay in an Ocean View Two-Bedroom suite from Thursday through Monday.
During our stay, we discovered roaches in our room and immediately reported the issue to hotel staff. Rather than addressing the situation appropriately, I felt that staff members were dismissive and rude when I raised my concerns. The only solution offered was to spray the room with Raid, which is not an acceptable remedy for a guest room, especially one occupied by a family.
Additionally, when I requested to be moved, the alternative room offered was located near the lobby and did not have the Ocean View accommodations that I had specifically paid for. This was not a comparable room and would have significantly reduced the value of our stay.
To make matters worse, the roaches reappeared the very next day after the room was sprayed, demonstrating that the issue was not properly resolved. As a result, my family and I spent the remainder of our vacation uncomfortable and concerned about the cleanliness and condition of the room.
I paid for an Ocean View Two-Bedroom experience and did not receive the quality of accommodations or customer service that should be expected. I am requesting that management review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, unsanitary conditions, and poor handling of my complaint."
