"The room itself was very clean and comfortable. It had a bit of strong smell--not bad, just strong and somewhat spicy/woody. It is a wooden cabin after all so I'm assuming maybe it's from that. Overall great stay and very friendly staff. The only thing I didn't realize was that there was no microwave or mini fridge in the room, but otherwise it was great. No complaints!"

"Our room was very nice size. We particularly appreciated the in m-room fireplace, though we spent most of our time by the fireplaces downstairs. Wish there was TV in the room, but not a big deal. "

"Clean comfortable space very close to Winthrop's main commercial area. Added bonus was the "private" balcony in back facing the river, we watched multiple deer journey past."
