"The property was OK, it's well maintained outside but the rooms, although, redesigned and renovated, we can still see its age. The worst part is the SMELL. As soon as we entered the room, there is that weird, musty odor which we think comes from the A/C. We reported it to front desk and asked them to give us an air freshener which they provided but did not fix the problem. It just masked the odor but as soon as the perfume goes away, the musty smell comes back! The bathroom is really SMALL! it's so hard to go in and out of it. The pastries for breakfast was an OK feature but was not enough! They could have added some fruits, granola bars, hard boiled eggs and juices. I was really expecting a WOW factor considering its high ratings online, but we were not impressed at all. The only thing we liked is its location - it's a 10-minute drive to Universal Studios."

"Hotel does not have microwave in rooms, there is one per floor in the room with the ice machine. While using the microwave, security came harassing my husband, falsely accusing him of urinating in the room. In a room where my husband stepped one foot inside to hold a plate for me. When the security confirmed there was nothing in the room and that it was clean, my husband wanted an apology. No apology was given, instead he has threatened. The security said he was given a discretion that there was black man in the hallway. Will never stay in this hotel again where my husband can’t even be in the hallway without security harassing him for being African American."
