I loved the aesthetic of the hotel room. It was clean, very well put together, spacious, and conveniently had a kitchenette with all the accessories you'd need to prepare a meal and a cup of coffee. The staff is extremely helpful and personable.

The property is nestled in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Very close to Provenza and Calle 70 where all the major bars and restaurants are. We got the family suite and we were up on the 9th floor and I must say the views at night at the balcony is breathtaking! Never seen such gorgeous city night view as close to this in other cities I’ve been to in other countries. Medellín is one of a kind and this trip made me miss it so much and its people.

Everything about the loft was amazing, from the minute we entered it was such a beautiful room and we were given such a beautiful view. I have no complaints, staff were great and very attentive. Breakfast was great and I did not mind walking to it, it’s only a block away. The cleaning on request was great whenever it was needed and overall had a very great stay where I felt safe and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone coming to Medellín who wants a more local and authentic experience in the Laureles and La América area.

The ladies that work at the front desk (Vicky, Laura, and Yoani) are very polite, patient, and helpful. They helped us register for our tours and arrange the transportation. They were able to answer every question we had. They always had a friendly smile to greet us. The room was so cozy. The balcony was a nice place to hang out at night because the neighborhood was very quiet. I like that there was a mini kitchen in case we wanted to cook. The bathroom was spacious. The restaurant for breakfast was also nice. It’s a quick, easy walk. There is also a minimart by the restaurant to get whatever we needed. Firenze was really nice and I would stay there again.

The location was very nice and the rooms were clean and definitely comfortable to be in, the only problem I would say is that you can’t have Guests so if you think you can bring a friend without having them check in. They will refuse. It’s a safety issue so I do understand it.

The hotel is beautiful but there are a lot of hidden flaws. It rains nearly everyday in Medellin. We had a room that goes out to the terrace, the water came in and the floor is already slippery, our room was full of water. The washrooms are extremely tight and uncomfortable, there is hardly any space to get around. The shower is a standing room also, the water also leaks its way into the room. Overall such a messy situation. The overnight receptionist, Yohannis, was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, I dropped my state ID upon leaving the hotel. I have asked for it to be shipped (I offered to cover expenses) and they have now ghosted me. If they can’t send it back it’s fine, but I did request for it to be discarded with proof that it’s been cut so that it cannot be used and they refuse to answer. I don’t understand why’d they’d want my state ID if it cannot be used in Colombia. I wouldn’t bother returning, they can’t return an ID but want a good review? I don’t think so.

Firenze Lofts is exactly what I want in a property -- small enough to get personal service, but large enough to a super professional staff. It is one of the greatest price points for quality returned -- that I have ever experienced. The units are the size of a studio apartment. The kitchen is bigger and more modern than what I have in my full sized house. Same goes for the bathroom -- clean, modern, spacious with plenty of hot water in the big shower. The elevator works fine and I never heard any noise from guests. The unit comes with a large, private balcony. The only small drawback is the unit available when I booked comes with two twin beds -- and they cannot bring in a full sized bed. As I travel solo, I am used to a king or queen bed room -- not a pair of twins. A twin bed is somewhat small for a grown up. But the property more than made up for it with a well-equipped room with tons of outlets, lighting options and a powerful AC unit. Frienze Lofts is in Laureles -- an upper middle class are that is super flat and walkable -- compared to other areas of hilly Medellin. They always try to steer anglos to Poblado. I think this location is 10 times nicer and more authentic. I loved walking less than 15 minutes to the inexpensive elevated Metro train. One electronic card can be used for the trains, trams, gondola cars to the upper hills and endless city buses. Firenze lofts is in a green, leafy area next to a small waterway. The staff is amazing at this hotel.10 stars!
