This was a great property. Very clean and modern. Bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Staff were very friendly and had a great breakfast each morning.
It was more than expected. A perfect boutique hotel. Very friendly and helpful. I definitely will go back and also close to lots of restaurants walking distance
The staff was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast served until 2 pm was such a treat.
The ambiance and décor were beautiful, and we truly felt right at home.
Wonderful hotel!! Not exactly where all the El Poblado fun is (you have to walk a few blocks to get to the restaurant/bar area), which could be a disadvantage to some but for us the privacy and quiet was great. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms comfortable, and all the staff wonderful.
The Hotel is in a very nice area recently built . The decor was super cool . The breakfast was wonderful being à la carte . The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Loved it
Superb location with a quiet street close to the action. Walkable, safe, and the hotel itself was nice. We especially loved the included breakfast - delicious, healthy, and warm service.
Service excellent, staff on reception really helpful, gave us great recommendations for restaurants and organising tours. Hotel is in a great location. Very grateful for free daily bottled water. Disappointing no room service availability but that didnt affect us.
Friendliest staff ever and everything was always spot-less plus the aroma en general was very pleasant. Great location, but far enough to be super quiet, pretty good for resting and privacy.
We spent 3 nights at the Host Medellin hotel. From the moment we walked in to the beautiful lobby, I knew it would be a great stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and great bathroom. . The staff is amazing and always helpful to make your stay wonderful. The Valentina cafe had a great breakfast menu with beautiful pastries. Highly recommend!!
Brand new hotel, very comfortable, excellent location, close to restaurants and parks, staff very polite and helpful, rooms very clean and comfortable, beautiful architecture, and great decoration including three original paintings by David Manzur.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
This hotel blends chic sophistication with modern flair, and the staff’s kindness and attentiveness make every guest feel truly cared for.
Very nice and clean hotel and quieter than other areas in poblado. I had to leave a day early for a prepaid stay and hoping that the hotel will provide a one night voucher for a future stay
**★★★★★ Outstanding hospitality — a true example of how to handle problems the right way**
I stayed at The Host Hotel in Medellín and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is new, modern, perfectly clean and well-maintained, and beautifully designed, with a great coffee shop and restaurant on-site. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept in, with plush pillows that made my night's rest excellent. The location is excellent. A few minutes of walk from El Poblado park, Parque Lleras and walkable from Santa Fe Shopping Mall.
I did run into one issue during my stay: the AC in my room kept shutting off within seconds of turning it on. I reported it to the front desk three times, and after the third report, the team moved me to a different room where everything worked properly.
What truly set this hotel apart was what happened next. Juan José, the owner, personally came to speak with me about the issue. He was gracious, professional, and genuinely apologetic, and he offered to refund my stay for the inconvenience. He also provided a courtesy breakfast, and we ended up talking for a while about life in Medellín, he even gave me helpful advice as I look into apartments in the city. It's rare to see an owner take that kind of personal time and care with a guest, and it said a lot about the values behind this hotel.
Mistakes happen, but it's how they're handled that matters. The Host Hotel turned a hiccup into one of the most memorable parts of my trip. Hig
A really lovely hotel in a good location. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the reception, breakfast/bakery section looked lovely as well.
The only disappointment was that some of the reception staff were not always that helpful. The hotel does not offer an in-house laundry service, but they did arrange to send our items to an external laundromat, which we appreciated.
However, we were asked to pay in cash on return, yet they couldn't tell us the cost or when the laundry would be delivered back. The laundry was returned while we were out the following day, and the message indicating that an "exception" had been made by paying the fee on our behalf came across as somewhat unprofessional and unfriendly, particularly given the lack of information provided beforehand.
Apart from that, it was a good experience and the breakfast staff in the bakery were lovely.
My husband and I stayed there for our first visit to Medellin. Location was central in El Poblado area. Lots of great restaurants around. The hotel and room were like a little oasis in the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting.
