The hotel was beautiful, rooms were clean, you can sleep really good, and breakfast is perfect. However, the didn’t give me the VIP benefit because they don’t understand how it works and the staff is not friendly.

Excellent location with a wide variety of nearby restaurants. The Poblado train station is just a short walk away. Breakfast options are impressive, with a great selection of made-to-order dishes. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and the shower delivers strong water pressure with instant hot water. The front desk is open 24/7 and always ready to assist with any requests or needs you may have.

The room was great - the design, comfort of the bed, private balcony. The staff were accommodating and helpful. Could’ve have had a bit more fruit in my yogurt & granola bowl. Close to some great coffee & restaurant choices.

It was a nice boutique hotel and great for the value! Just make sure you stay in rooms in the back if you are a light sleeper since it stands on a semi busy road!

I have been staying at Botánica Manila by Housy Host whenever I visit Medellín for the past three years, so this review comes from several stays rather than just one experience. One of the best things about the hotel is definitely the location. It is very convenient, close to the Metro, major banks, shopping, restaurants, and many of the things you may need during a stay in Medellín. The rooms are basic but generally functional. However, the beds could definitely be improved. They are quite hard and uncomfortable, especially the king-size beds. In some rooms, the “king” bed is actually two twin beds pushed together, and sometimes the mattresses are not exactly the same height or firmness, creating an uneven and uncomfortable sleeping surface. Another important thing to know is that the walls are extremely thin. Be particularly careful with watching television after 10 p.m., even at what you may consider a reasonable volume. During my most recent stay, I received a message about the TV being too loud. I responded politely and immediately lowered it to barely audible, which I thought resolved the situation. However, the following day, a male front-desk employee approached me again specifically about the issue and spoke to me in a tone that I found unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. I had already acknowledged the complaint and adjusted the volume the night before, so being followed up with in that manner the next day made the situation uncomfortable. I want to

Property is well located with some nice restaurants walking distance. Nice little touches like free coffee at reception. Not to like - very noisy, especially if located on the ground floor. No windows and no housekeeping (available at an extra cost) Check in is labouriius and the staff not awfully helpful. Received a message after checking out advising there was a make up stain on the pillow - which is quite normal and doesn't exactly warrant a warning advising an extra cost could be incurred.... I wouldn't stay here again. Especially because other nice enough properties seemed to be available at walking distance.

FRIENDLY STAFF

The hotel is in a perfect location... a few minutes of walking to the heart of the city. All of the hotel employees are amazing. Very friendly and professional staff. They will go above and beyond for the visitors. You can't beat the price for the service and the quality you will receive. Bathroom and shower are very clean with hot and good pressure water. Beds are comfortable. I stayed in 2 separate rooms due to my cancelation on another location and they were extremely helpful to find a solution in the last minute because i was arriving after midnight. I want to thank to the entire staff for their beautiful smiles and professionalism. The price is perfect too for the service and the location. You will not regret to stay in this hotel.

Everything was clean, the breakfast was amazing and the staff were ok. My only concern is about the noise from principal street just in the front of the hotel I know that’s something out of their control but it’s good to know.
