"Staff is not good attitude"

"It was a great hotel. Chris and Jenny at the front desk were amazing and kind. There was a good group of people that were staying at the hotel. Very good vibe. Everybody was nice. It was very peaceful. And stress-free. The breakfast was amazing. And so was the staff."

"A worthwhile lodge for your Big Sur visit. The bathroom looked freshly renovated with nice tile and marble, and was very clean, the bedroom felt older but clean and the bed comfortable. The views were lovely. We appreciated the table and chairs in the room for eating the food we brought with us. The breakfast offered was hard boiled eggs, mandarin oranges, juice, and a sweet loaf (that looked good but we didn’t eat). Parking was easy although the short driveway off Route 1 was rather steep and unpaved. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they weren’t there at check-in; they come by in the morning to bring breakfast and prepare the rooms. It’s not a destination resort, but if your destination is Big Sur, Lucia Lodge is a decent place to stay and we would return. (A cabin we had booked in Big Sur last year was so dirty we left immediately, returning home rather than staying in the area. In comparison, Lucia Lodge though less expensive was much nicer with better views.)"
